watch.this.space.

I mentioned in my earlier blog post that PJPII used to take his annual summer break in the mountains, where he'd ski and be one with nature. What I forgot to say then was how it never occured to me that popes take breaks. I had always assumed that men of God work full-time, all the time. Well, it was good to realise that everyone - yes, including the pope - needs time out to rest and relax.

Needless to say, I'm no exception. Setting my out-of-office auto-responder is one of the best feelings ever, and after wishing my colleagues well, I bounced out of the office on 23 Dec for my annual respite from work. It has been 7 days since I last stepped into the office and I'm happy to report that absence has not made the heart grown any fonder.

One of the tasks on my holiday to-do list is to update my blog. Blogging is to me what drawing is to an artist. It keeps me in tune with my inner being - my reflections and my thoughts. It's unfortunate that I've been so time-deprived these days to do it.

Anyway, whining aside, here are some photo highlights of the past week to kick off (hopefully) a steady stream of fresh blog entries.
