Day 6 highlights: It's match day!

It's all about football on Day 6 - the match between Man Utd and Arsenal. And if you can recall, it was a boring 0-0 draw. I was, of course, hoping for Arsenal to kick-ass and deny Man Utd of the EPL championship title. But that didn't happen, obviously. And we bought tickets for the Man Utd stand so I had to pretend to cheer for the home team and betray my loyalty for the Gunners.

Bright and early on Saturday morning, we donned our cheap and authentic Man Utd jerseys from Lillywhites and made our way to Old Trafford together with hundreds of thousands of fans. While waiting for the match to commence, we watched as the stadium filled to its max capacity and players came on the pitch to do their warm-ups.

Not only were we lucky to catch a live soccer match in England, we also became a part of the celebrations as Man Utd lifted the championship trophy for the third year in a row, yadder yadder yadder...

Anyway, we picked up our bags from the hotel after the match and literally made a mad dash for our train back to London, where we'd spend the night at Annabel's before leaving for Paris the next morning.

As you can see, we were quite early.

I "bought" from London to good use.

I don't understand why they
always do that jumping thing on stage.

Exiting the stadium - always the most dreadful part.

We made it on the train back to London!
(And I'm trying to hide the jersey I have on...)

generously let us stay in her room for the night.
