Sheer Jewelled Companions
A teacher, a scientist, an accountant, an air stewardess, and a writer. Who would have thought that five totally different people with nothing in common except a blue pinafore can come together and still be great friends 10 years after leaving school?
Honestly, I didn't think we'd come this far. But we have. And for that, I'm thankful, because if there was anything that has remained a constant in the last decade, its this bunch of crazy pimpled teenagers who today have become five lovely (still crazy) ladies - at least in my opinion.
When we are together, it's like being 16 all over again. We laugh at the top of our voices, poke fun at each other, talk about boys, and simply enjoy each other's company.
In a world where change is the popular choice, I'm glad I get to keep some old habits. And truthfully, I couldn't have asked for a better group of mismatched friends who accept my flaws, walk with me through the difficult times, and stand by me as we watch the rainbow together.
...And after all that heartwarming s***, here's where I do something which I'll be slaughtered for later.
Now don't just stop here...It's time for you to flip through those dusty photo albums, read the warm fuzzies and reminisce the good ol' times. Friendships don't survive on air. Pick up that phone and start making appointments to meet your friends now!
