Sunday night ramblings
Every year, I blog about my birthday because it's one of those things I don't want to forget. This year, it's no different. But...I'm too tired tonight so I'll save that for another day. One thing's for sure, it'll definitely come.
I don't understand why people would watch a silly show like Incredible Tales. I cannot for the life of me, comprehend why someone would watch something so scary. Isn't the world freaky enough as it is? I just don't get it.
Issue 2, Volume 2 of G! was released in church today, much to my relief. I spent the past week fretting about whether it would turn out properly, if it would be printed on time, and if the exhibition would proceed as planned. Thankfully, everything went according to plan.
I was thoroughly amused while reading the newspaper today. Firstly, there was this space-wasting spat between the two bloggers DY and WC. I don't know why people even bother with them. I've read their blogs and find it an utter waste of time. They ought to get real jobs, really. And then in the Life! section, there was an article about people with weird names. There's Dragon, Purpink (purple + pink), Diva, Bright and Twelve. Goodness. And the one that cracked me up the most was this person called Lingual Tan Ling Ling. She even said that her friends would pounce on the chance to say "Bye Lingual." Hahaha. Get it? It's hilarious. Now I don't feel so bad about being joann without the E anymore.
I finally went jogging today, after weeks of procrastination. Yesterday, I spent the day at home, watching overdue TV series, reading my latest Jodi Picoult book, and trying to pack my room. In the evening, I had the house to myself so I decided to watch You've Got Mail, one of my favourite movies, while eating maggie mee, sipping bloody Mary and indulging in some ice cream and Baileys.
Looks like it's back to work tomm. Looking forward to seeing Mraz at Singfest come August 3rd. "Live high, live mighty, live righteously, taking it easy..."
