Exam fever *Stoned*
My short-lived slacking days are over. I'm back in the workforce - Complete with a posh, enviable new office, I must add. I'm happy. I'm excited. I'm certain that I've made the right choice. Don't ask me how I know. I just feel it in my gut. I love the smell of the new furniture, the stretchable lunch hour(s), the new challenges at work. On the flipside, I find myself in an awkward position at times. Hmmm, let's just say that my personal beliefs and values are somewhat compromised. But don't worry, nothing serious. Just a slight change of mindset on my part. A little game of give-and-take.
Did I also mention that I may have a bite of my chocolate-coated strawberry after all? Well, nothing's confirmed at the moment, but come Monday, I may be savouring the juicy sweet taste of my dreams. Keeping my fingers crossed till then.
Right now, I'm loading myself with textbooks, lecture notes, and what-have-you. It's weird to be reacquainted with my books again. Maybe my brain isn't used to being in information-overload mode. It's taxing I must admit but it'll be worthwhile. I know it will.
